All lectures are available for 24/7 streaming on your schedule.


Online Program Description

The Online Training Program allows you to write your own schedule. At your convenience; mornings, afternoon, evenings or overnight! 
The Radio program is a 30 week program, that requires a total of 25 hours each week, Almost 75% of your time is spent hands-on in your virtual studio, gaining valuable hands on experience.  There are also live lectures, Personal Instruction and 2 hours of weekly Vocal Coaching, where you will participate live in breathing exercises, articulation exercises and diction training. Ideal for those with regional accents and lazy diction.
Online Radio Training Weekly Schedule
Each week, your action packed training consists of  live  webcasts of lectures and Vocal Coaching. These lectures are webcast live and feature leading working Los Angeles radio professionals. And you have the ability to participate live. Then there is the creative time spent doing On-Air shows, Audio Production and Newscasting. And the best part, a one hour live face to face over the internet meeting with your own Personal Instructor. This is done weekly. Your Instructor will help guide you through the program, critique assignments and projects, and assist in any way to help you to succeed. Your Personal Instructor is available at almost anytime if you need help, or have questions. Your Personal Instructor is your 30 week Mentor!
Job Placement
The graduating students prepare for their job search, with assistance from the Placement Director. Students are assisted in preparing an effective cover letter and resume along with appropriate audition tapes. Job leads and station specifics are provided for positions in Radio Broadcasting at small, medium large market radio stations, most often right in your own region.
 Acceptance into the Radio Broadcasting Online Training Program
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, or have graduated high school or possess a GED.. Candidates must meet certain requirements set forth by the Academy.  A one-on-one phone interview is required, where you will receive a thorough explanation of the Academy's requirements. The interview results will then be reviewed by the Admissions Director at which time a decision will be made as to the suitability of the candidate for the online program.
